Nigerian superstar music artist, Burna Boy has released the visuals to his latest single titled ‘Odogwu’. The last Grammy-award-nominee is known for creativity and the new music video off the stables of Spaceship records isn’t an exception; it’s one to see.
Few weeks ago, Burna Boy released the single ‘Odogwu’ to build on his performances that got him a nomination in the prestigious world music award, Grammy. The single was well accepted by fans worldwide and today, Burna Boy have the visuals for the hit.
Odogwu Music Video
The visuals for the song was shot and directed by ace music director, TG Omori. It’s an Igbo-themed video that had the people of Southeast Nigeria hailing Burna Boy in the intro.
Odogwu can be translated from Igbo language to be chairman. The video really depicts Burna Boy as he was seen in the Igbo traditional attire known as Isi agu. He was also crowned as a traitional ruler.
The video showed Nigeria to the world as it displays the rich culture and tradition of its people. The costumes which include beads, wrapper, red cap, and the native attire which were the dressings of the Igbo people of Nigeria makes the Odogwu video one of a kind.
The flute playing and the dance steps such as atilogwu dance of the people makes the video captivating. We cannot but hail Burna Boy as Odogwu for this particular hit. You just have to see this one directed by TG Omori and feel the vibes.
