Following Arsenal’s 3-2 win over the Portuguese side, Benfica, former Arsenal and Barcelona star Cesc Fabregas, praises Bukayo Saka. The Spaniard said the Saka is too mature and intelligent for his young age.
The former Arsenal and Chelsea star made the statement following his impressive performance in their 3-2 win in the Europa League. Saka was one of the outstanding players in Arsenal’s victory.
Bukayo Saka the Game-Changer
The North Londoners put up an impressive comeback after the Portuguese went up 2-1. Bukayo Saka provided two assists in the game that helped them come back to the game. The 19-year-old threw a defence-splitting pass to Arsenal skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to put Arsenal 1-0 ahead in the first half.
The visitors levelled the scores and went up with a beautiful freekick. Arsenal came back with Hector Bellerin striking home the equaliser. Benfica looks okay until Saka beat his marker with two stepovers in the penalty box and threw a beautiful cross to Aubameyang, who nodded the ball into the net.
The 3-2 win saw Arsenal progress into the round of 16 as they won 4-3 on aggregate. Fabregas described Saka as a “game-changer.” He took to his Twitter handle and wrote: “Saka is such a good player. Such maturity and intelligence for his age. Game changer.”
