Golden Eaglets of Nigeria is not left out of the FIFA U-17 tournament which is hosted by the samba team Brazil. When it comes to youth football, the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria are always at the forefront. Nigeria is one team to reckon with in terms of youth football and, when you talk about how good they are, records can speak for the country.
The 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup is the 18th edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup. The biennial international men’s youth football championship contested by the under-17 national teams of the member associations of FIFA.

The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria have won the tournament on five different occasions and have introduced great talents to the world of football. Although the National team is number 35 in the FIFA ranking, the youth team is ranked among the best 15 in the world. The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria are ranked the first position in Africa.
This year, Nigeria has selected the best of players within the age bracket of 14 to 17 to represent the country in Brazil. Some players from the English Premier League youth and academy teams were also selected, Daniel Jinadu of Westham United and Joseph Oluwabusola of Bournemouth were selected.
Both are goalkeepers in the English Premier League Academy clubs. The 2015 set that won the trophy brought to limelight the present Ligue One top goal scorer Victor Osimhen and Villareal’s wonder kid Samuel Chukwueze. Perfect Start For The Golden Eaglets
Nigeria is already topping the Group B; they won their first game against Hungary 4-2. They came from a 2-1 down to win the day with the captain, Samson Tijani, scoring brace. The Golden Eaglets will be playing Ecuador who is also with the same point with Nigeria, winning today will guarantee the Eaglets a spot in the next stage.
Nigeria is not the only African team in the tournament, however. Angola, Senegal, and Cameroon are also playing the tournament. Angola and Senegal won their first games while Cameroon lost theirs to Tajikistan by a goal to nil. All eyes will be on the Eaglet skipper Tajini who has scored two goals already in the 2019 FIFA Under17 campaign.
