Bobrisky is a very popular face in the Nigerian tabloids and internet majorly for a number of controversies. The Nigerian crossdresser has recently been accused of a scam; a case that has gotten to the Inspector General of Police. Although he is known for his luxurious lifestyle and show off on social media, the news going around raises doubts about his legitimacy.
Bobrisky with the real name Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju has made name for himself. He is a popular transgender , crossdresser, and internet personality in Nigeria. He is also a businessman dealing in beauty products. Bobrisky knows how to set social media on fire with his controversial posts. He recently posted the picture of a man he called his driver and accused him of fleeing with his money and car.
Bobrisky in an Alleged Scam
Bobrisky has been accused by a lady identified as Rosemary to have scammed her of beauty products (eye lashes) worth millions of naira. She also claimed she’s the CEO of Bob wings, the company headed by Bobrisky. In a blog post, the lady explained in details how she was duped by the crossdresser and has since been reported to the police.
In her words, she financed the business that Bobrisky was known to own. She said she did the finance, production, shipping and clearing of the beauty products from Vietnam.
‘’I brought in a container of the said eye lashes. If you check the back, my Whatsapp line is also there. Delivered to Bob and I paid him upfront 2.5 million to sell off and 2.5 after sales’’
‘’Things were moving fine and all of a sudden, sales dropped. Little did I know Bob had opened another account named Bob express against the Bob wings diamond account I opened that he was receiving alert on and posting on snap last year’’
‘’I returned to Nigeria and went to the warehouse to check goods only to find out Bob had sold goods worth 6milllion and ate the money’’
She also explained how a man whom she trusted and identified as Mr. Steve (Royal Hair) was involved in the scam. In her words, Bobrisky is unwilling to refund the money he made from selling her goods and has threatened her.
Rosemary has since written a letter addressed to the Inspector General of Police. In the letter, the lady raised petition against Bobrisky for fraudulent conversion of money and threatening violence.
This is not the first time the crossdresser has been accused of scam. Sometimes ago, a man identified as Prince King Hollywood on Instagram accused him of scam and that he has been doing that to many Nigerians. Bobrisky, however, denied the claim and has called the accuser out.
Let’s wait and see Bob’s reaction and the Police intervention on this fresh case of alleged scam. It seems Bobrisky has many scores to settle with many people or let say he’s born for controversies.
