Real Madrid skipper Karim Benzema scored a hat-trick as his side came from behind to beat Celta Vigo in their first match at the Bernabeu in 560 days. The France international scored either side of a Franco Cervi strike after Santi Mina had given Celta Viga the lead.

Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior was also on the score sheet as he scored his third for Real Madrid in the current season. Also on the score sheet is another France player, Eduardo Camavinga, who had his debut in the game registered his name in the score sheet from the bench.
Benzema sealed his hat-trick with an 87th-minute goal as Carlo Ancelotti’s side moved top of La Liga. Despite ongoing construction work, 30,000 supporters were welcomed back to the Bernabeu as Los Blanco played their first match there since beating Barcelona in El Clasico on 1 March 2020.
The victory moves Real Madrid to the top of the Spanish La Liga table on goals scored, But they are levelled on points with Valencia and Atletico Madrid.
