In a heart-to-heart chat with Dotun, Deji reveals the dynamics of his relation with his various “ship interest” in the BBNaija Season 7 house. Deji confides in Dotun about his disapproval of Doyin’s passive-aggressive behaviour towards him.
BBNaija Season 7: Deji and Dotun Hits at Doyin Wahala
He spoke about the grudge he perceives from Doyin at certain points and referred to the Thursday night pool party. After dancing with about three females during the party he moved over to Doyin and in an act of retribution, she avoided dancing with him.
Dotun chipped in at this point of the conversation, saying, it’s inherent human emotion coming to play. It is to be expected that Doyin becomes resentful and embittered after expressing her feelings for Deji and those feelings remain unreciprocated.
Deji clarifies that his lack of reciprocation is not without reason. He unveiled what had transpired, saying after Doyin expressed her feelings, he saw her all booed up with Cyph during the Saturday night party. This two-sidedness from Doyin appears to be the main reason Deji is deterred from starting something serious with her.
Deji stirred the conversation away from Doyin and to Chichi, he discloses that his mantra for a relationship is, “have your partner’s back”, but with Chichi, it would be impossible to do so, since she’s always getting into fights and he’s not ready to settle fights. He admits that he has found a balanced woman in the house, in the person of Rachel.
Their discussion concluded with Deji saying, “las las, this show nor be love show, if love comes or not it doesn’t matter”. In the grand scheme of things in the BBN house, love and shipping aren’t priorities.
