BBNaija ex- housemate, Anto has announced that she would be speaking for Nigerian youth on, especially on the ongoing #EndSARS protest launched and critically handled by them.
In a tweet she made on Friday morning, she would be on the show to announce to the world how she they young Nigerians were able to use the power of social media to articulate their displeasure about police brutality and bad governance.
“I know many of us have mixed emotions right now but we must keep the conversation alive! I will be speaking at the #CXNCELLED Festival with @UKYouth and @beatfreeks supported by @Google and @YouTube, discussing how Nigerian youths used social media to start a revolution.”
The revolution which started as a small protest spread to major cities of Nigeria, as the youth composed themselves peacefully until it was reportedly hijacked by hoodlums who fomented trouble across the nation.
The protest was brought to an abrupt end after a killing of several unarmed and peaceful protester singing the National anthem and waving the country’s flag.
