Last Night, Adekunle rallied his friends to plead with his leading lady. While they serenaded Venita in bed, she softened. The Adenita ship finally set sail again as she chose to forgive her BBNaija All Stars boo. Now fans who have not been following the show closely might be lost as to what exactly occurred.
Well, it all started during the Saturday Night party. Venita was missing, fans began speculating that perhaps she was locked out for not getting ready on time. However, when we saw Adekunle sleeping on the sofa and not in bed with Venita, we knew there was definitely trouble in paradise. So what happened?
What happened between Venita and Adekunle?
When some housemates began to notice the distance they sought to uncover the reason by asking Venita. While in tears, she reveals to Kimoprah that Adekunle had not participated in the tasks. She had been in his group during sponsored tasks and he was not pulling his weight.
She complained that despite knowing how much these tasks meant to her, he had deliberately chosen to sabotage them. She accused him of being selfish.
When she spoke with Angel, she complained that the relationship was affecting how she handled tasks and activities in the house. She was scared that the relationship might be ruining her game.
She also accused him of gossiping about her to Seyi. While Venita was crying on the shoulders of other housemates, he was scared about evictions. He found himself stuck outside with Seyi in the garden as it rained. They barely spoke as they seemed to be in their feelings about the eviction. However, because Venita was crying and Adekunle did not bother to meet her, it further fueled the divide between them.
After surviving eviction, Adekunle sought to build a bridge between them. She was not having it as she accused him of being selfish. In turn, he accused her of being insensitive as he was going through heavy emotions because of the eviction. Their conversation quickly turned chaotic.
She was pissed because he made their fight public notice to the house by sleeping on the sofa and staying away from her rather than addressing his issues.
Eventually, Adekunle understood things from her perspective. He got some housemates like Angel, Soma, Pere and Neo to serenade her with a song as he apologised for hurting her feelings.
She forgave him, and the fight is water under the bridge.
