Barcelona’s Camp Nou Host first La Liga El Clasico
It is the first El Classico in the Spanish La Liga 2020/21 season and this time Barcelona will be the first host of the clash. The two bitter rivals, go head to head at Camp Nou in the first “El Clasico” of the season.
The Catalan giants have been struggling to find their best form at the start of the season, but they did well in the Uefa Champions League as they rolled over their opponent 4-1 to top their group. They will be looking to stretch that win to the Spanish La Liga as they take on Real Madrid.
Barcelona chiefs sold several first-team regulars in the summer transfer window, with Ivan Rakictic, Luis Suarez and Arturo Vidal all affected, they will be banking on Spain rising star Fati, who came as a substitute in a 1-0 loss to Getafe and new signing Miralem Pjanic. Los Blancos, on the other hand, suffered an embarrassing 1-0 loss to Cadiz at Alfredo di Stefano Stadium. And they also suffered another surprising 3-2 home loss to Ukraine side Shakhtar Donetsk. Considering that Real Madrid has been struggling in front of goal of late, but seeing that they are facing a tough side which pride is attached to the game we are sure they will come all out in the game.
