Delta state police carries out investigations as man stabs friend man over gamble money. The Delta State police have arrested a resident of the Amukpe community in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State who stabbed his friend to death over N12,000. Nigeria’s first ever and only female combat helicopter pilot, Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile of the Nigerian Airforce has died. Tolu died yesterday in a fatal car accident that occured in the Nigerian Airforce Base Kaduna, where she sustained severe head injuries. She died shortly after this incident . The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has asked the Ikeja Special Offences Court not to grant bail to social media influencer, Adedamola Adewale aka ‘Adeherself’. Niger state police have arrested a 60-year-old man for defiling an 8-year-old hawker in uncompleted building. Operatives of the Niger State Police command have arrested a 60-year-old man identified as Haruna Lawal for allegedly raping an eight year old girl. The alleged rapist was arrested in Wushishi town of Wushishi Local Government Area , Niger state. LSSC continues to identify and seal non-compliant organizations in Lagos State. The Lagos State Safety Commission(LSSC) on Sunday sealed 33 religious and social facilities for going against the COVID-19 safety protocols. The facilities included bars, restaurants, lounges, spas and gyms that were shut down for disobeying the rules that were set to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus. Rescue teams are still actively working at the location of the three storey building in No. 20  Freeman Street, Lagos state that collapsed this morning.The LASEMA team have been able to rescue three more residents making it nine survivors while the number of fatalies rises to three. A three-story building at No. 20,Freeman Street in Lagos Island has collapsed in the early hours of Saturday, July 11 while the residents were fast asleep in the morning.
