Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has announced the mandatory use of face masks in public places effective from Friday, April 24. Oyetola made this known in a statement released by his chief press secretary, Ismail Omipidan, on Thursday in Osogbo. The Federal Government has expressed the readiness to expand the social register for palliative distribution given the lockdown order as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
