English Premier League Arsenal beat David West Ham United 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night to secure a place in the top four for the first time this season. The two goals came in the second half of the game. Gabriel Martinelli put the Gunners in front three minutes after the break. The forward slotted home from a threaded through ball from Alexander Lacazette.

Things became worst for West Ham United as Vladimir Coufal was sent off for a second yellow after fouling Lacazette in the 69th minute. In the 69th minutes of the game, Arsenal was given a penalty, but Lacazette missed the penalty as Lukasz Fabianski saved the ball. Substitute Emile Smith Rowe made sure of the victory late on, slotting bottom right after a fine break three minutes.
Arsenal completed their victory as Smith Rowe in the 87th minute of the game and moved to the fourth place position topping West Ham United with one point and two points above Manchester United, who have a game at hand.
