Arsenal reportedly are up for sale despite the Kroenke family declaring they will not entertain any offers.
Gunners owner Stan Kroenke released a statement earlier this week where he declared he would ‘not sell any stake in the club’.
Arsenal for sale for £1.7 billion
His announcement came after Spotify CEO Daniel Ek teamed up with Invincibles Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira and Dennis Bergkamp to buy the club.
The Swedish billionaire – who first signalled his intentions to take control of his beloved side on Twitter amid fan protests – is worth over £3billion.
According to the Mail on Sunday, Kroenke Sports and Entertainment (KSE) would be willing to listen to offers in the region of £1.7bn.
They claim that Arsenal has been on the market for around two years despite publicly announcing they are not for sale.
The news outlet adds that it has been two years since KSE received an approach from an international financial consortium.
