Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has given conditions to Paris Saint-Germain’s hierarchy if he is to take over from Mauricio Pochettino. Pochettino is expected to leave the Ligue 1 side despite securing the title last weekend. The former Tottenham and Espanyol head coach has struggled to win over the fans and failed to progress past the last 16 of the Champions League despite having very classic players.
Antonio Conte Makes Demands to PSG before he can take their Job off
Although there are speculations that PSG has made Zinedine Zidane their preferred candidate to replace him, Conte has also offered his services to the club. The Italian coach who joined Tottenham in November last year is willing to leave the club provided PSG does according to his bidding. His contract with the Premier League club only lasts until 2023.
According to French radio station RMC Sport, Antonio Conte would be very interested in taking over at the Parc des Princes, but he has a list of very demanding conditions PSG must agree to. The former Inter Milan and Chelsea boss is demanding almost double his wages to a whopping €30million (£25.2m) per year. This will make him the second-highest paid manager in the world behind Atletico Madrid’s head coach Diego Simeone.
He also wants to bring his entire coaching staff with him and that includes picking his sporting director. He would want more control over transfers than any of the club’s previous managers over the past decade.
