West Brom Signe Andy Lonergan on Short-term Deal
Liverpool goalkeeper Andy Lonergan has completed a move to struggling English Premier League side West Brom. West Brom have signed the goalkeeper on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
Andy Lonergan who is 37-years-old has made more than 400 appearances for clubs including Preston, Leeds, Bolton and Fulham. He was among the Liverpool team that won the last English Premier League 2019/20 season.

He was released by Liverpool at the end of the 2019-20 season, and signed a short-term contract with Stoke in December, playing in their Carabao Cup defeat by Tottenham.
He will provide back-up to Baggies stopper Sam Johnstone. Lonergan is available to play in Saturday’s FA Cup tie against Blackpool. West Brom is currently in a very difficult position in the English Premier League table.
