Andrea Pirlo Returns to Juventus
Former Italy and Juventus playmaker Andrea Pirlo have returned to Juventus, the 41-year-old has returned to be Juventus Under-23 manager. Juventus appointed the legendary former midfielder Andrea Pirlo as their new Under-23 manager. He is regarded as one of the finest players of his generation and has been out of the game since retiring as a player in 2017.
During Andre Pirlo’s playing days he won the World Cup with Italy in 2006 and made 116 caps for Italy, he played for AC Milan before joining Juventus and ended his career in the USA. He won Serie A four times with Juventus after joining from AC Milan, with whom he spent most of his career and won two Champions League and two league titles.
Pirlo left Juventus in 2015, finishing his playing career in Major League Soccer at New York City FC. Juventus who has already won the league after a 2-0 win to Sampdoria made the appointment to sign the player as their Under 23 manager yesterday.
