The men of the Anambra State Police Force arrested a 29-year-old resident called Ogbu Christian for allegedly raping his neighbour’s daughter in Okpoko community .
Haruna Mohammed, the police spokesperson of Anambra state confirmed this in a statement that confirmed the incident.
The spokesperson said Christian was arrested after he lured the little girl into his room with a biscuit bait and raped her.
He said immediately the report reached the Okpoko division, officers went to the scene and took the victim to the hospital.
The medical doctors who examined the little girl also confirmed signs of forceful penetration.
The case had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation as directed by CP John B.Abang, the Commissioner of Police.
