Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has terminated the appointment of Allen Sowore as the media aide to his Deputy, Agbola Ajayi in the wake of his decamping from the State ruling party.
The notice of the sack was contained in a statement released by Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Olusegun Ajiboye and made available to newsmen.
This is coming after several insinuations that Akeredolu and Ajayi have not been enjoying the best of each other’s company despite being at the helm of affairs of the state.
Ajayi has kept mum about the allegations of misunderstanding between him and his boss and also dismissing rumors that he was eyeing Akeredolu’s seat.
Sowore is the first to be dismissed since the deputy governor’s resignation from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC and joining the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
According to the statement,the termination of Deputy Governor’s media aide is with immediate effect.

He was also enjoined to submit all the government’s properties in his possession to the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Olugbenga Ale.
The Ondo State Deputy Governor has insisted that he would maintain his seat despite dumping the party that brought him to power.
There are rumors that The Deputy Governor is working hard on contesting the seat of the State governor under the umbrella of his new party, the PDP.
The state is warming up for a fresh governorship election later this year, with that APC and the PDP seen as the major contending political parties.
