Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has come out to reveal that they will go all out for a win in Tuesday’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying game against the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde. The Super Eagles of Nigeria maintained their top place position after a comfortable 2-0 away win over Liberia during the weekend.

Ahmed Musa, who scored the second goal, said even though all the Super Eagles need is a draw, they will not settle for a draw, but rather they will go all out for victory against the Blue Sharks. According to Musa, he said: “No one is thinking of a draw. It is a must-win match, as far as we are concerned,” Musa stated.“The mindset is to win and reach the final round of the World Cup series without any story.”
The Super Eagles of Nigeria top Group C with 12 points, two points above Cape Verde, who had to come from behind to beat the Central African Republic 2-1 at home Saturday. Tuesday’s clash will take place at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
