The management of Access Bank Nigeria has confirmed that there was a fire outbreak at its Adetokunbo Ademola branch in Lagos state on Wednesday, August 26.
Confirming the incident via its Twitter handle, the Bank stated that no one was harmed during the fire outbreak.
Also, it added that its fire protocol in the Bank has been activated with all its personnel safely moved out of the bank premises.
The tweet reads “There has been a fire incident at our Adetokunbo Ademola branch this morning. Thankfully, no one was harmed. Our fire protocol has been activated and all personnel have been moved to safety.
Meanwhile, the Bank said the fire started when a diesel truck discharging fuel, as it advised members of the public to stay away from the area.
It was gathered that the fire outbreak started around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday while emergency responders and firefighters were called upon to combat the raging fire.
