Former Real Madrid and Manchester United Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo scored two late goals to bring back defending champions of the Italian Serie A as they beat stubborn Udinese. Andrea Pirlo’s side has not been having the best of the season as they drew the last game and were on the verge of losing one again before Ronaldo intervened.
Magical Ronaldo Brings Juventus Back to Form
They fell behind to Nahuel Molina’s early goal and barely threatened for long spells. Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo scored one fro the penalty in the 83rd inute before doubling the lead si minutes later with clinical heading. The result means Juve are now in the third place position in the Italian Serie A table. At least they now have some breathing space in the race for Champions League qualification.
Juventus failed to win the Italian Serie A title for the tenth tie in a roll as Inter Milan was confirmed the winners of the league after second-place Atalanta played a draw. Their whole hope is now to fight to maintain the Champions League spot.
Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo could be leaving the club at the end of the season as his reign has not been a favorible one. Juve struggled through out the season. The manager took over from former Chelsea manager Sari but could not do better.
They still have some very important games to play to ensure their safe qualification to the Uefa Chamapions League. They will be playing AC Milan next week and champions Inter in the penultimate game.
