After their 3-1 win over Carlo Ancelotti troops at the Goodison Park on Wednesday, Manchester City made Premier League history. England young star Phil Foden opened the English Premier League leaders scoring before Riyad Mahrez, and Bernardo Silva scored one each to seal the victory.
Manchester City Star Foden Seems Unstoppable
Phil Foden opened the scoring in the first 32 minutes of the game, but Brazilian star Richarlison levelled the scores five minutes later. The goals kept coming as Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva enrolled their names in the score sheet to give City a comfortable away win.
The win means Manchester City have now won their first 10 Premier League games in 2021, which is the longest-ever winning run by a team from the start of a calendar year in top-flight history.
Man City has now taken their tally to 56 points, and 10 points clear off second-place Manchester United. For Everton, they remain in the seventh-place position with one outstanding game.
