Dejan Lovren Offers Help to Earthquake Affected Families
Former Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has offered accommodation to families affected by an earthquake that happened in his country Croatia.
Following the earthquake incident at least seven people have been reported dead which could be felt in neighbouring Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia as well.
A 12-year-old girl was killed in the badly damaged town of Petrinja. According to Lovren, he wrote on his Instragram handle saying: “Dear citizens of Petrinja, I am making my hotel in Novalja available to the 16 most endangered families.”
The former Liverpool defender also said: “If you need temporary accommodation, contact my team.” following the good deed by the Croatia defender who now plays for Zenit St Petersburg, Chelsea and Croatia midfielder Mateo Kovacic has also pledged to support those affected by the 6.4-magnitude earthquake.
