Arsenal Extends their Winning Run to Two
Arsenal’s late goal from Edward Nketiah saw them edged pass David Moyes side 2-1 in the English Premier League Matchday two to extend their unbeaten run to two. They hosted West Ham in the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal opened the scoring in the first 30 minutes of the game, goal from France international Alexander Lacazette gave them the lead.
Alexandre Lacazette opened scoring from a good pass from the skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but with just a minute left for the first-half to Antonio levelled the scores as the two teams went into the half-time break on a levelled scores. Bukayo Saka made his first start this season and was instrumental in Arsenal’s two goals. he set up substitute, Edward Nketiah, who became the hero for Arsenal as he poked home from range to give his side the hardfought win.
The Gunners were hit with an early setback following the injury to Kieran Tierney during warm-up which saw Sead Kolasinac brought in. The win saw Arsenal move up to second place behind Everton who hammered newly promoted West Bromwich Albion 5-2 earlier on Saturday.
