Manchester United Portuguese star player Cristiano Ronaldo has finally reacted to Manchester United’s 5-0 loss to Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday. United fell two goals down in the first 13 minutes of the game and went four goals down before the halftime break.
Cristiano Ronaldo Advices United Players after Liverpool Defeat
Cristiano Ronaldo thought he’d scored a consolation for United, but it was ruled out for offside after a VAR check. The defeat for Manchester United leaves them eight points off leaders Chelsea after just nine matches played in the English Premier League, as they have lost three of their last four top-flight outings.
Ronaldo admitted that he and his teammates must accept blame for Manchester United’s below-par form as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer comes under huge scrutiny. The Portuguese international wrote on Instagram: “Sometimes the result is not the one we fight for. Sometimes the score is not the one we want. And this is on us, only on us, because there’s no one else to blame.”
“Our fans were, once again, amazing in their constant support. They deserve better than this, much better, and it’s up to us to deliver. The time is now!”
