Liverpool and England Full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has signed a new contract with the club that will see him remain in the club until the summer of 2025. Alexander-Arnold, 22, is a product of the club’s youth academy and has made 179 appearances since his first-team debut in October 2016.

The England international missed Euro 2020 after he suffered a thigh injury in a warm-up match before the tournament and was replaced by Arsenal new signing Ben White. Alexander-Arnold, who has won the Champions League and Premier League, said the new deal was a “no-brainer”. Speaking his new contract, he said: “The state the club is in and where I’m at in my career is always a good option for me.”
The Englishman also said: “To extend and make sure I’m here longer is always a good thing. I’m made up. “It’s the only club I’ve ever really known, so to be here for this amount of time and extending to be here for a longer amount of time is amazing for my family and me.”
The England right-back was was shortlisted for the Ballon d’Or in 2019 and won the Fifa Club World Cup and Uefa Super Cup with the Reds.
