English Premier League side Arsenal has indicated their interest in signing Chelsea flop Tammy Abraham as they prepare for the 2021/22 English Premier League season. Chelsea is currently looking at selling some players. Abraham is one of the players on their list, with West Ham United and Aston Villa already indicating interest in the player.
Arsenal Wants Chelsea Striker Tammy Abraham
Since the arrival of new manager Thomas Tuchel, the player has not had good playing time, and it is obvious the German does not want to work with the Englishman. Chelsea is holding out for a £40 million transfer fee for the attacker, but all the clubs coming for him are unwilling to pay that amount for the 23-year-old.
But according to reports, Arsenal has joined the list of clubs interested in signing the player, a boyhood Gunners fan and idolised Thierry Henry growing up. However, the report claims that Arsenal will need to offload players first before meeting Chelsea’s £40m valuations.
Arsenal is already open to offers for Franch international Alexandre Lacazette, whose contract expires next summer, while Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira are both expected to be sold before the start of the season. Abraham has so far scored 21 Premier League goals in his last two seasons for Chelsea.
