France international Kylian Mbappe is increasingly unlikely to sign a new contract with French Ligue 1 yop side Paris Saint-Germain this summer as the player has refused to pen down a new contract with the club. The former AS Monico player has one year remaining on his contract with the club, but he wants to leave the club regardless.
Kylian Mbappe Delays New Contract with Paris Saint-Germain
While PSG is insisting that their most prized player Mbappe will not be allowed to leave the club just yet, the French giants also do not want to risk Mbappe departing on a free transfer. Nevertheless, the 22-year-old and club officials are no nearer to finding a resolution that would suit both parties.
Kylian Mbappe would allegedly prefer to sign a new contract with the guarantee of being able to make the switch elsewhere if another club makes a suitable offer.
PSG currently has no intention or plans to agree to the request, which would go against rules outlined by the French Professional Football League. The likes of Real Madrid and English Premeir League top side Liverpool have all indicated an interest in the player before now, but he has not said anything about his future outside of Paris Sain-Germain.
