Golden Boy for 2020 Six EPL Player Make Nomination List
The final 20-man shortlist for the 2020 Golden Boy award has been announced and six English Premier League players were in the list. After a breakthrough 2019-20 campaign, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka is one of the six English Premier League Players to make the list, another player in the list is Manchester United and England forward Mason Greenwood.
Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden is also in the list for the Golden Boy award, Summer signing Ferran Torres, with new Wolves recruit Fabio Silva and Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi are the six English Premier League players in the nomination list. However, it was gathered that there are four leading candidates, with England and Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho vying for the prestigious prize along with club team-mate Erling Haaland.
Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies will also be in contention after playing a key role in Bayern Munich’s Champions League victory, with Barcelona’s Ansu Fati also challenging for the award.
