One of the most popular features of men in this age is the keeping of beards. This used to be a feature of the Arabs, Rastafarians, and Hebrews, but these days, beards are grown by 7 out of 10 men in the world. If well groomed, beards make men to be steps ahead of their counterparts in the dandy game (you may want to argue with me on this, you are free to do so). Beards make men more manly and give the masculine appearances they really want. Facial hair is not only crazy hot, but they’re also actually good for you- health-wise. You just have to put down your razor for these five benefits stated below:

BEARDS CAN PROTECT YOUR FACE FROM THE SUN DAMAGE

Beards have been found to block up to 95% of the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays that could lead to a condition known as ‘Dermatoheliosis’, a chronic sun damage to the skin. The manifestation is spots, saggy skin, and wrinkled skin. Science is, therefore, saying beards serves as a protection from sun rays, so you have to put the razor down for your face protector to act.

BEARDS CAN WARD OFF THROAT DISEASES

Scientists have also proved that facial hair can help keep airborne bacteria out of your mouth, which assists in protecting your throat. It is said that the beards and the hairs that grow in the nostrils were designed by nature to guard the lungs from the invasion of deleterious particles. Beards are also helpful in the prevention of asthma as it provides another barrier between your body and toxic exposures.

BEARDS CAN REDUCE THE CHANCES OF BACTERIAL INFECTION

Bacteria normally live on the skin as normal microflora, causing no harm, but when the hair on the skin is being shaved, it can create openings that bring in the bacteria and lead to infection. Not shaving helps say no to acne.

NOT SHAVING CAN CLEAR UP YOUR SCHEDULE FOR MORE IMPORTANT THINGS

Time is one of the most important things in life. The way you spend your time really matters. An average man is estimated to spend 3,500 hours of his life shaving. That is 139 days equivalent to nearly five months. Keeping your beards can save so much time to help chase your dreams.

MEN FEEL MORE ATTRACTIVE AND SEXY WITH BEARDS

Men who wear well-groomed hair are more attractive to the opposite sex. Men receive more compliments about their facial hair than when it is been cut. Have you ever seen ladies pulling their men’s beards? It gives them a soothing sensation and sexy feeling.

Men with beards are living a life that’s worth it. You only live once, once is enough when it is lived well. Keep your beards, groom it, and stay healthy guys.
