Newly promoted English Premier League side Watford has revealed why they signed 23-year-old Nigerian international Emmanuel Dennis despite his poor and questionable attitude. According to the club, they believe the player is seemingly the perfect profile for the kind of attacker they want.
Watford Believes Emmanuel Dennis will Help their Team
Emmanuel Dennis got into fame light after scoring a brace for his club side Club Brugge against Real Madrid in the Uefa Champions League. The game ended 2-2, but the young Nigerian made his mark in the game and has since been admired by many clubs across Europe. Emmanuel Dennis fell out of luck in his club side after being involved in a very unnecessary issue with a teammate.
He refused to enter the club bus because his teammate was sitting in his favourite seat, and when he asked the player to stand up for him, the player refused. He got angry and refused to travel with the team. It reflects poorly on the 23-year-old as he was then loaned to the German side Cologne.
English Premier League side Watford said they like the Nigerian’s ability, so they signed him to help in the attack line as they are not ready to go back to the English Championship. Dennis will now be playing with fellow countryman Success and hope to pick his pieces. Watford believes the player is good, and his potentials will help the team in the 2021/22 English Premier League season
