COVID-19 Vaccines In Africa
According to her, while it was always essential to access the vaccines, it’s now more critical than ever.
The WHO Boss further stated that the hoarding of COVID-19 vaccines in Africa would only prolong the ordeal and delay Africa’s recovery.
Moeti added that it would be profoundly unjust if the most vulnerable Africans are forced to wait for vaccines while lower-risk groups in rich countries are made safe.
She disclosed that the CEPI vaccines, Gavi and W.H.O, lay the groundwork for equitable access to the vaccines.
Meanwhile, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC has issued a strong warning over an alleged fake Coronavirus, COVID-19 Vaccines in the country.
