While we wait for Ike to finally propose to his girlfriend the winner of the 2019 BBNaija reality TV show, Mercy Eke, the lovers have surprisingly become parents.

They stepped into the new status as parents on the latest edition of their reality TV show, What Next, and the joy on Mercy’s face was priceless, considering the way her boyfriend Ike went about it.

Ike who said Mercy has been talking about owning a dog for a while and he feels they are in a good place now so getting her the dog was the best for the moment.

“Mercy is been talking about dog, dog, dog and we have been planning on which type are we gonna geeettt. I just feel like now is the right Tim, we are in a good place you know am thinking of taking the relationship to the next level.

“I feel like the dog is going to serve two purposes, first the dog is going to make her happy and she will be like wow like she is been wanting it for so long and like finally.

“And secondly, I feel like the dog is going to be a test for me and her if we are ready to take this to the next level.”

Mercy on setting her eye on the beautiful white puppy got all lightened up, carried it, and announced to her sister that she now has a baby.

She picked her phone and gave her sister, Promise a call to announce the new addition to the family. She told her that her baby’s name is Chanel. Mercy said they are going to use the dog to test if they are both ready for parenting.

Promise who was also happy for her sister advised her to bath the new baby every two days. Meanwhile, Ike had earlier promised to always be there for the two of them to take care of their new baby together as parents. “I have never seen her around pets or babies, I definitely know how to take care of dogs, but if she needs help am here. I just want to see what happens
