The BBNaija show is undoubtedly one of Nigeria’s biggest reality shows, giving the housemates a platform to showcase their talents and test different areas in their life from strength to intellect and the likes.
The BBNaija show has been in existence for years now and has seen six seasons so far, which automatically produced six winners with a grand prize worth millions.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane starting from the season one winner in 2006, Katung Aduwak.
After the first edition of Big Brother Nigeria, the show’s winner, Aduwak, chose to acquire more training in filmmaking and production. Following his return to Nigeria, he started working on music videos and TV series.
After a long break, season 2 of Big Brother Naija came to the limelight in 2017 and was held in South Africa, tagged “see Gobbe”, which saw Efe Money emerge as the winner of that edition with N25 million.
After the show, he pursued his career in entertainment, with music as his talent. Since his win, he has with top music acts like Olamide, Iceprince and BOJ.
Efe was currently in the news after he called out BBNaija for wanting to use him after winning the show.
The third edition of Big brother Naija also took place in South Africa with the theme “Double Wahala.”
Miracle won the edition with a grand prize of N45m, but after winning the show, he stayed in Nigeria to fulfil what he signed up for as the winner with the show’s partners, then went ahead to leave the country to pursue his career as a pilot.
Now let’s talk about season 4 pepper dem edition, one of the most dramatic seasons with Tacha, Mercy, Diana, Venita and the rest.
Mercy Eke emerged as the winner of this season. Her stay in the house can’t easily be forgotten because of her infamous dispute with fellow housemate Tacha, a strong competitor.
She won the grand prize of N30m cash prize and other consolidated prize and is the only female who has won the show so far.
Mercy eke has expanded her business portfolio with a hand in fashion, lifestyle, entertainment and is also a proud owner of luxuries like houses, cars and lands.

He won the grand prize of N90 million worth of gifts and plans to pursue a career in music and entertainment.
What Past BBNaija Winners Share in Common
Well, you might be wondering what all these winners have in common, and undoubtedly, one thing that is for sure is they were all winners of the big brother Naija show.
Asides from being the winners, they have a passion for the entertainment industry (Well, asides Miracle of course), fashion, music, movie and reality shows.
Three of these winners share something in common, which is their love for music. Yes, you guessed right, Efe money, Laycon and Whitemoney have made their interest in their music career known right from the big brother house and seem to be pursuing it.
Another similarity is the storyline of some of the housemates. Recall that Efe came to the house with a pity story that got him a large fan base and Laycon, on the other hand, became the talk of the show from the first day when he caught the viewers’ attention with his outfit. Whitemoney also stole the heart of the people with his hustle stories and how he cooked for the housemates for weeks without complaints.
Another similarity is the fact that they are songwriters, singers, and rappers. Efe and Laycon were both given a political appointment. Efemoney was made the entertainment and creative industry ambassador in Plateau state, while Laycon was made Youth ambassador for Ogun state. I guess it is safe to say we should watch out for Whitemoney. He might just get a political appointment too.
A look at the hairstyle and body structure of Efe and Laycon makes it undeniable that they are similar in different ways.
