UCH’s CMD tests positive to coronavirus, Board Chairman, Provost, Deputy Provost also. These were the cases recently reported by the NDCD to have occured in Oyo state. Following the reports, all four of them were at the quarterly board meeting which commenced on the 25th of March and was scheduled to last for five days. According to them, they observed all the precautionary measures at the event and practiced social distancing.

However, 72 hours after the meeting one of them tests positive. This led to all the attendees of that board meeting getting tested. As it stands now, all the staff and patients who have been in contact with them are adviced to self-isolate and also get tested.
