Nigerian music artists manager Ubi Franklin has debunked the news of him losing the House of Assembly election primaries.
The 36-year-old talent manager is contesting for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for Yakurr constituency 1, Cross River state.
News of Franklin losing the contest went viral on social media during the weekend.
However, in a follow-up tweet, Ubi Franklin wrote, “Dear Friends disregard any news that I lost Election. I won the election. I sat before an appeal panel yesterday and votes were counted, and it shows I won. Be patient while we wait for the report from the appeal panel. Thank you.”
