Twitter Users Demand Justice For George Floyd

Following a disturbing video that surfaced on the social media platform about a black man, George Floyd, who was allegedly murdered by a white cop, many Twitter users have taken to the social media to condemn the act.

Reacting to the video, many described it as an act of Racism which they outrightly condemned and demanded that Justice should be done in the case to discourage racism.

In the video which has went viral, the cop, who was identified as Derek Chauvin, kept his knee on Floyd’s neck, cut off his air passage and was confirmed dead when taken to the hospital.

In the meantime, four Minneapolis police officer have been fired after the video about Floyd’wes murder surfaced on the internet.

Meanwhile, a public information officer for the Minneapolis Police Department had previously said that Floyd before his death appeared to be under the influence.

When Journalists inquired whether that was a reference to drugs or alcohol, Arradondo said the matter was under investigation.

The case has been referred to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension before it was announced Tuesday morning that the FBI would also be joining the investigation.
