A Twitter user accuse Facebook of being responsible for the worldwide shutdown that lasted for about six hours.
Recall that the three most used social media apps, Instagram, Facebook, and Whatsapp, suffered a significant outage from about 5 pm on Monday till late hours in the day, making it the worst outage it has experienced since 2008.
Well, following this, a Twitter user has claimed that Facebook is responsible for the shutdown to divert people’s attention from the whistleblower who accused the App of profiting from hate speech via the App.

On Sunday, the former Facebook product manager, Frances Haugen, accused the social media platform of continuously prioritizing profit instead of fighting against hate speech and misinformation.
She also leaked one of the internal Facebook research documents, which stated that there is evidence from different sources that hate speech, divisive political discourse, and misinformation on Facebook is affecting societies worldwide.
