Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey has joined the list of public figures to back the #ENDSARS campaign to say no to Police/SARS brutality in Nigeria.
Nigerian youths have got the attention of the world with the hashtag #ENDSARS which has trended on microblogging platform, Twitter, worldwide.
International celebrities and footballers such as Bishop T.D Jakes,Kanye West, Mesut Ozil, Cardi B, P Diddy, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Rudiger, Lil Baby, Chance Tha Rapper, Tammy Abraham, and several others have lend their voices to end Police brutality in Nigeria using the social media platform to air their opinion.
Jack Dorsey, who visited Nigeria not too long ago also endorses the campaign which has had the Nigerian Police dissolved SARS to form SWAT which has also been kicked against by the protesters.
He tweeted his support for the #EndSARS protests and even encouraged his followers to donate to help the movement. Jack took to his Twitter account to write “#EndSARS” with an emoji of the Nigerian flag.
Jack also shared articles about the protest calling on the Nigerian government to end SARS and end police brutality in the country.
Meanwhile, one of the strong voices in the protest, identified as Savvy Rinu on the app has got her page verified.
