Former Chelsea and Newcastle United Ghanian forward Christian Atsu have been reported to suffer extensive damage following the earthquake that happened in Turkey a few days ago. According to reports, the 31-year-old who had spells with Everton and Bournemouth is currently battling for his life.

The Ghanaian Football Association tweeted: “We’ve received some positive news that Christian Atsu has been successfully rescued from the rubble of the collapsed building and is receiving treatment.
