Nigerian content creator Tosin Silverdam has taken to his Instagram story to vent about his ex, Praize, accusing her of maintaining a pattern of befriending his closest friends years after their breakup. The lengthy post detailed what Tosin described as Praize’s deliberate attempts to stay connected to his life through his inner circle, a situation he finds both disrespectful and exhausting.
According to Tosin, the issues began shortly after their breakup six to seven years ago. He alleged that Praize first got close to his then-flatmate and best friend, Bidemi, seemingly to spite him. After Tosin and Bidemi had a fallout, Praize moved on to his new best friend, Oma, growing so close to her that it caused friction between Tosin and Oma. When Tosin and Oma eventually ended their friendship, Praize reportedly cut off Oma as well.
Now, Tosin claims Praize has shifted her attention to his personal stylist and close friend, Joko. Tosin accused Praize of attending Joko’s events, maintaining communication, and even ignoring him at events despite being in the same space. He expressed frustration, questioning why Praize continues to involve herself with people in his circle.
“Praize, aren’t you tired? I don’t even love you anymore or hate you; it’s been seven years! Why are you still hanging around my friends? What are you looking for?” Tosin wrote in his Instagram story.
He also criticized his friends for allowing the situation, calling it a sign of disrespect. Tosin suggested that Praize’s actions show she hasn’t healed from their breakup, adding, “I was so good to you till you started gaslighting me unprovoked. The numerous cheating nko?”
The post has sparked reactions online, with many weighing in on the drama. While some sympathized with Tosin’s frustrations, others questioned the need to air personal grievances so publicly.
This development highlights the complications of lingering ties in social circles after breakups and raises questions about boundaries in friendships and relationships. Whether Praize will respond to Tosin’s claims remains to be seen.
