A few hours after setting TVC television station ablaze in Lagos State, some hoodlums have reportedly set fire on The Nation Newspaper head office located at Fatai Atere Street, Mushin, Lagos State. It was gathered that the newspaper is owned by the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
A staff member of the Newspaper, who confirmed the development said the office was attacked by thugs. You will recall that scores of peaceful EndSARS protesters were shot dead on Tuesday, October 20 by Nigerian Army personnel at the Lekki Toll Gate area of Lagos.
It was gathered that about 10 people were confirmed dead at the spot of the incidence on Tuesday while scores were seriously injured while demanding an end to police brutality.
In the meantime, reactions have continued to trail the shooting of protesters at the Lekki Tollgate in Lagos. Reacting, a Senior Advocates of Nigeria Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa condemned the shooting allegedly carried out by some officers of the Nigerian Army.
Adegboruwa said it is unacceptable to open fire on armless and defenseless citizens adding that the protesters have been the most orderly, most organized, and most peaceful so far.
