In a full rant, Tems exposes Ugandan celebrity behind her prison ordeal
Temilade Openiyi professionally known as Tems has gone on a long twitter rant over the unpleasant experience that she went through during her visit to Uganda.
The 25-year-old singer was arrested after a concert performance in Uganda alongside another Nigerian artiste, Omah Lay and other crew members . According to the Uganda police, they flouted the COVID-19 protocols and the punishment for that was to be detained by the police. They spent days in police cell and while they were there, Nigerians did everything within their power to endure their release.
During this trying time, Popular Nigerian artiste, Davido called out a Ugandan pop star for being the reason for Tems and Omah Lay’s arrest. Davido accused Bebe Cool of being sneaky but it was not until Tems made her thread that many began to confirm what Davido said initially.
Days after her release and getting back to Nigeria, Tems took to her twitter handle to call out this same Ugandan musician, Bebecool.
She called him a liar and narrated the events that led to her arrest including that Bebecool’s friend broke into their rooms and took them away as he planned with the police in secret to arrest them while parading himself in the papers as the one who spearheaded their release.
She warned him not to step foot into Nigerian because then she would not be in chains and would not hesitate to deal with him if he does.
