Following the fire outbreak reportedly witnessed during the Candlelight procession in honour of Prophet Temitope Joshua, also known as TB Joshua, the leadership of the Synagogue Church of All Nations has issued an official statement to confirm the incident.
In the official statement, the Church noted that a minor electrical surge caused the fire outbreak witnessed on Monday, July 5 2021, at a storehouse within The Synagogue complex.
According to the Church, the Lagos State Fire Services men quickly brought the fire outbreak under control without any injuries.
TB Joshua’s Burial
However, the Synagogue Church assured the general public that there is no cause for alarm, adding that the funeral services would continue to celebrate the life and legacy of Prophet TB Joshua.
EveryEvery.ng gathered that TB Joshua’s wife, Evelyn Joshua, led the candlelight procession at the Church complex in the Ikotun area of Lagos. You will recall that the Church had announced that late TB Joshua would be buried on July 9, 2021.
Earlier, the Leadership of the Synagogue Church had reacted to reports making the rounds over the person that would succeed Prophet TB Joshua.
The reaction is coming amid the rumour that the leadership of the Synagogue Church has appointed TB Joshua’s wife, Evelyn Joshua, to head the Church.
During a press conference, Dr Gary Tongethe, who spoke on behalf of the Church, said the plan is to give the Prophet TB Joshua a befitting burial.
According to him, plans regarding succession will be clearly and directly announced if there is anything to say on the subject.
