Civil Society Organizations, CSOs, numbering 300 under the auspices of the Coalition of Civil Society Organizations in Nigeria, COCSON, Tuesday, unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the Managing Director, North East Development Commission, NEDC, Dr Mohammad Alkali, over his landmark achievements and transparent leadership.

African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development, Centre LSD, under its project “Deepening Transparency and Accountability in the governance process through the implementation of Open Government Partnership in Nigeria” will on 22nd November 2022 kickstart training on the open government partnership, OGP in Gombe state.

At the ongoing National Executive Committee, NEC Meeting, the All Progressives Congress, APC, has just declared that any member willing to contest in the forthcoming 2023 general election would purchase its presidential nomination form for one hundred million naira (₦100,000,000) only.

The PRP hereby demands that President Muhammadu Buhari ask the Minister of Hunanitarian Services and Disaster Management to immediately tell Nigerians:
a) The names, location of the 2.6 million Nigerians given N20,000.00 each;
b) The methodology used in the disbursement of the said N5,200,000,000.00 to 2.6million Nigerians; and,
c) The source of this N5.2billion and if it came from the Public Treasury, when it was appropriated to the said Ministry.
