Reactions have continued to trail a viral video regarding what Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, said about the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
In the viral video, the interviewer asked Sunday Igboho to comment on the death of Pastor Dare Adeboye, the son of Pastor Adeboye. In his response, Igboho said he needed not to commiserate with the cleric over the demise of his son.
According to Sunday Igboho, Adeboye failed to support the call for the Yoruba Nation, despite the massive number of people attending the RCCG and his influence over the congregation he is leading.
He went further by raining curses on anyone against the call for the sovereignty of the Yoruba Nation. Igboho said Adeboye failed to encourage his church members to support the demand for Yoruba sovereignty.
The Yoruba activist noted that many influential Yoruba sons and daughters have decided to keep mum instead of speaking against the rate at which Killer herders are kidnapping, killing and attacking people from the Southwestern region.

Reacting to the comment credited to Igboho, some Twitter user scolded him for being insensitive to the Adeboye’s family by making such a comment during the interview. At the same time, some tweep noted that the interviewer deliberately set him up by asking such a question from Igboho.
Meanwhile, some other people blamed Igboho’s comment on Illiteracy, noting that he would have responded better if he is literate.
A tweep @drayoawoniyi said Sunday Igboho would later apologize to Adeboye, adding that his emotions beclouded him. He further stated that everyone seeking the Oduduwa nation needs to carry Yoruba religious leaders and elites along if they want actualization.
Another tweep, @odun42000, said the stupidity of Sunday Igboho would not make him understand that Baba Adeboye is not only a pastor for the Yoruba’s but the whole world.
He wondered how Igboho expected Adeboye to preach against other tribes when he has churches across nations, and they all see him as a father figure.
You will recall that Pastor Dare Adeboye, the third child of Pastor and Pastor Mrs Folu Adeboye died a few days ago and many notable Nigerians including President Muhammadu Buhari, Yemi Osinbajo, Atiku Abubakar, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Babajide Sanwo-olu among others have condoled with the Adeboye’s over the demise of their son.
