Members of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, RCCG, have been thrown into mourning over the death of Pastor Dare Adeboye, the first son of the General Overseer of the church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
Pastor Dare Adeboye, the third biological child of Pastor Enoch and Folu Adeboye, pastors one of the RCCG Churches in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Sources revealed that he officiated on Sunday, May 2 and asked not to be disturbed after getting home from church, after which he slept but did not wake up, though he was neither sick nor on medication before his death.
According to the sources, the deceased Pastor’s wife, Temiloluwa Adeboye, raised the alarm after observing her husband’s unusual sleeping hours.

Until his demised, Pastor Adeboye was the North Central Youth Evangelist overseeing all the youths, RCF, RCCF and PSF in Niger, Benue, Kwara, Kogi, Nasarawa, Plateau, and FCT.
He was the RCCG Kaduna Region 8 Youth Pastor, Senior Pastor of RCCG House of Praise Birmingham, the Provincial Youth Pastor of RCCG Kaduna Province 1.
Late Pastor Dare Adeboye was the RCCG Youth Affairs National and International Director of Programs, Chairman Organizing Committee of 70hrs Messiah’s Marathon Praise, National Youth Convention and Northern Zone Abuja RCCG SHIFT programs.
