Ministers from the South-West region have on Sunday visited the National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu.
Professor Ibrahim Gambari, Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari led the Ministers to sympathise with Tinubu at his Bourdillon, Lagos residence over the recent destruction in Lagos.
Meanwhile, South-West governors have met in Lagos to strategise on improved security in the region.
The meeting is in the wake of the mayhem during the recent EndSARS protests.
Chairman, South-West Governors’ Forum, Rotimi Akeredolu, said that the region had gone through a lot in recent times.
Akeredolu said the meeting was to improve on the relationship in the South-West region and find solutions to youth unrest.
However, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Ibrahim Gambari, said the meeting was for those in government to retrace their steps.
He stressed the need to have a rethink of a better way to engage the youth more to prevent their restiveness.
