Following reports that some Nigerian soldiers invaded Yoruba Activist Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho‘s residence in Ibadan, an eyewitness had alleged that the soldiers arrested a cat in Igboho’s house.
The eyewitness claimed that some gunmen in military uniform allegedly attacked Igboho’s residence in the Soka area of Ibadan around 1 am on Thursday.
According to the witness, the soldiers destroyed no fewer than ten vehicles, including his G-wagon, Prado SUVs, and other valuable properties.
Meanwhile, an aide to the activist said the attackers took away jewellery and a massive amount of cash belonging to him and his family. The aide explained that the soldiers dressed as if they were going for a battle.

The aide noted that the soldiers took away Igboho’s cat, which they claimed might be Ighoho that turned to the cat. Everyevery.ng gathered that the operatives also killed some of the small cats found in the house while taking away the big ones.
Meanwhile, Olayomi Koiki, the spokesman for Sunday Adeyemo, has confirmed that the proposed Mega rally slated for Lagos State will hold despite the attack on the activist’s residence.
Koiki, who spoke in a Facebook live video, said the attack would not discourage them from staging the mega rally. He had earlier alleged that the military men who attacked the house killed two people and took bodies away.
