Popular Nigerian singer, Sir Shina Peters has bagged a spiritual title.
The Afro-Juju creator has been ordained as bishop of the Cherubim and Seraphim church.
Sir Shina Peters took to his verified Instagram page to share videos from the ordination which was held on Saturday, January 30th at the C & S church branch in the Iju area of Lagos state.
The legendary artiste captioned one of the videos from the event, “Bishop with the swagger. God above all.”

Shina Peters was born Oluwashina Akanbi Peters on the 30th of May, 1958 in Ogun state.
He began his music career at a young age when he played with friends under the handle Olushina and His Twelve Fantastic Brothers.
He taught himself how to play the piano and then joined the group of legendary Nigerian artiste, Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi.
The ‘Ijo Shina’ crooner was an actor in ‘Money Power’, a movie produced by Ola Balogun. He met and started a relationship with nollywood actress, Clarion Chukwura at this time.
Their union was blessed with a son, Clarence Peters; a popular Nigerian music video director.
Shina Peters married Sammie Ayoka Peters in 1983. The union is blessed with two children (Seyi & Clinton).
